Actually feel like this now.
I thought I would be sad, which I am. But also - and mostly - I just feel relieved.
I feel like I can breathe again without someone telling me I’m doing it wrong.
It’s funny because not long ago, I would’ve believed them, how stupid is that? To believe everything someone says, because they tell you they love you.
To believe them when they say you’re beautiful, fine. To believe them when they say you’re pathetic, weak, stupid. That’s not fine. Not fine at all.
So yes, I’m sad, but I’m also relieved and more importantly, I’m me. And I’m going to be the best damn me I can.
